Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 egg

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 cup beef broth

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Mix the ingredients gently until fully combined, then form into 1-inch meatballs.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the meatballs in batches, cooking for about 5-6 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove the meatballs and set aside.

In the same skillet, pour in the beef broth, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

Stir in the Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce (if using), bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Return the meatballs to the skillet, cover, and simmer for an additional 10-12 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld and the gravy to thicken slightly.

Once done, check the meatballs for doneness; they should be cooked through with no pink in the center.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley for a pop of color.
