Ingredients

2 cups strong brewed coffee, cooled

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups ladyfinger cookies

2 tablespoons cocoa powder, for dusting

Dark chocolate shavings, for garnish (optional)

Ice cubes

Instructions

Prepare the Coffee: Brew a strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. You can refrigerate it for faster cooling.

Make the Mascarpone Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese, heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Using an electric mixer, whip the ingredients together until soft peaks form and the mixture is fluffy.

Layer the Ladyfingers: Quickly dunk each ladyfinger in the cooled coffee one at a time, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Layer them at the bottom of serving glasses or bowls.

Add the Cream Layer: Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the soaked ladyfingers in each glass, spreading it evenly.

Repeat Layers: Continue layering with the dipped ladyfingers followed by another layer of the mascarpone mixture until you reach the top of the glass. The final layer should be the mascarpone mixture.

Chill: Cover the glasses with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to meld and for the dessert to set.

Serve: Before serving, fill each glass with ice cubes for a refreshing twist. Dust the top with cocoa powder and optionally sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings for extra flair.
