Ingredients

2 cups water

2 tablespoons dried rose petals (culinary grade)

2 teaspoons loose black tea (or 2 tea bags)

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)

2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust to taste)

A pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)

Fresh rose petals for garnish (optional)

Instructions

In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

Once boiling, remove from heat and add the dried rose petals and black tea. Steep for about 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.

After steeping, strain the tea mixture using a fine mesh sieve to remove the rose petals and tea leaves.

In a separate small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it's warm but not boiling. Froth the milk using a milk frother or a whisk until you achieve a light froth.

In a large mug, combine the strained tea infusion with the vanilla extract and honey (or maple syrup). Mix well.

Pour the frothed milk into the tea mixture, stirring gently to combine.

Sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon on top for added flavor (optional).

Garnish with fresh rose petals if desired for a beautiful presentation.
