Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 pound salmon fillet, skinless

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

1 tablespoon olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Prepare the Seafood: In a bowl, toss the shrimp with 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning and let it marinate for about 15 minutes. Season the salmon fillet with the remaining Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Cook the Salmon: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Place the salmon fillet in the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Sauté the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp and set aside with the salmon.

Make the Garlic Cream Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant, making sure not to burn the garlic. Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Stir in the lemon juice and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing it to thicken for about 3-4 minutes. If it gets too thick, you can add a splash of water to adjust the consistency.

Combine the Seafood: Add the cooked shrimp and salmon back into the skillet with the garlic cream sauce. Gently coat them with the sauce and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.

Serve: Spoon the Cajun shrimp and salmon onto plates, ensuring they are generously coated in the garlic cream sauce.

              - Presentation Tips: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and add lemon wedges on the side for an extra burst of flavor. Serve with crusty bread or over a bed of rice to soak up the delicious sauce.
