Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

1 cup pickles, chopped (optional for tanginess)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup milk

1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the chopped onion and minced garlic until the beef is browned. Drain any excess fat.

Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper. Remove the skillet from heat.

In a large bowl, mix the cooked beef mixture with the cream of mushroom soup and milk until well combined. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese and pickles if using.

Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish and spread it evenly.

Top the beef mixture with tater tots in a single layer, covering the entire surface.

Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.
